And another Scandinavian country in the row, Norway is notorious for its high prices. However, it is the country that has the biggest quality of life in the world.
This country has an extraordinarily high VAT rate of 25%, which makes the everyday expenses a luxury. Luckily, food tax rate is lower in Norway – it is 15%. But when you make a calculation in your head, even that tax rate for food makes it pretty much expensive.
